Clean the MAF and the throttle body. Change the fuel filter if it has more than 20,000 miles on it.

Start by cleaning the throttle body, maf, iac, and change the fuel filter......there are threads on how to go about doing these things in the HOW TO section of this forum....

Had to remove the second thread as only one allowed per subject.

Please do not start another thread again. See my post above. You should get all the help we have to offer in this one thread. Keeps things clean and cuts down on confusion for posters and you.

Be sure and check the Articles and How To section if you need help with any of the suggestions. Here is the link to the index:

https://www.f150online.com/forums/ar...-articles.html

Also, you can use the Advanced Search under the search button ans pull up previous posts on any subject that might help.

Nobody has mentioned the IAC yet - that would be one of the first things I'd remove and clean.

If it's "shaking" at 50, that may be a low grade misfire - it may need new spark plugs and/or one or more ignition coils.

I would read out the OBD2 to see if there are any stored trouble codes. There WILL be codes if the check engine light comes on.
