Truck idle is very lowwww
Hey just joined because I actually need to post something lol..so I just ot a 99 f150 5.4 larit 4x4 and my idle is extremly low like 300 low when I stop I don't move at all and at about 50 the wheel shakes. It feels as if I have the breaks on or it's in 4x4 but the parking break is up and all the 4x4 lights are off..I don't know what to do ! Help
Start by cleaning the throttle body, maf, iac, and change the fuel filter......there are threads on how to go about doing these things in the HOW TO section of this forum....

Please do not start another thread again. See my post above. You should get all the help we have to offer in this one thread. Keeps things clean and cuts down on confusion for posters and you.

Nobody has mentioned the IAC yet - that would be one of the first things I'd remove and clean.
If it's "shaking" at 50, that may be a low grade misfire - it may need new spark plugs and/or one or more ignition coils.
I would read out the OBD2 to see if there are any stored trouble codes. There WILL be codes if the check engine light comes on.
