Oh so just removing the muffler is like nothing huh haha
Like those 4 cats provide enough back pressure to make sure no harm occurs?

John, you have no idea what your talking about.
This is why your being taken to task.
Cats in good condition have more than enough flow capacity to be used on a 4.6/5.4L motor.
It's nothing to do with back pressure. Back pressure is never a performance enhancement.
You just want to make noise, go do it and be happy with the results.

I don't care about performance
I'm worried about something going wrong because I took the muffler off
That's all I've been asking

I don't think anything will go wrong by just taking it off, just maybe idling the fumes more than likely can enter the cab.

I ran my truck with no muffler for over a year and didn't notice any negative effects.

Now I have:

I have had that Magnaflow muffler on for over 2 years now and I am going to have it exit in front of the passenger side rear tire soon. I go back and forth on what I want to do and how I want it to exit all the time. As of now I want to exit where I said and then swap my 4 stock cats to 2 high flows for more volume.
