How do you change the lights on the heater control panel. I tried to get the molding off but I do not want to break it.. Any help is appreciated.

To remove the bezel around the radio and heater controls just pull it. It is held in by clips. Start around the center A/C vents and pull streight out. Watch the wiring for the air bag switch. There are 4 screws holding the hvac panel in. When you remove it the light bulbs are in twist and pull sockets. Have fun

I'm back with another lighting problem on the instrument panel for a 2010 explorer. I do not want to break the trim so if anyone can help before I get started would be great.

Bottom panel comes off first, "kick panel". Then the cluster housing that surrounds the gauge cluster can be removed.

Thanks. Way too easy. The dealer want $200. Crazy.
