2003 f150 screw vibrates
I have a 2003 f150 screw v8 that vibrates slightly when driving. feels like the vibrator on a cell phone and seems to be coming from right under my feet on the drivers side. i just had all eight plugs and coils replaced and the engine is running fine. i dont think it is the tires because it just started happening out of the blue. if the u joint went out would it vibrate slightly? how bout the driveshaft? what should I try first to solve the vibrations? only vibrates when driving and feels like i am hitting every bump in the road.
How many miles on the truck? Have you had shocks, ball joints, tie rods, etc. replaced ever? How old are the tires? Could it be a shifted belt on the tire, a bulge, or have your balancing weights fallen off?
I have a nasty shimmy when I hit a bad spot in the road. Started out simple and progressively got worse. Today I found both sides of front sway bar links were broke off and my idler arm is the main culprit of my shaking. Something to check on. ( I have 4WD)

truck had 70000 when i bought it used. so i dont know when the last time the shocks and other things were done. i have minimal vibration in the steering wheel. what is the unexpensive things to check first? have the tires rebalanced and rotated? check front shocks? could there be something wrong with the ujoints?
I would start with a wheel rebalance and have them check the integrity of the tires. Also when the vehicle is up on the lift, they should be able to check your ball joints and tie rods by applying pressure to the wheels in different directions and areas and feeling for movement in the joints.
Start there before it starts to get expensive.
