Thats pretty sweet! haha so how big is that L5 how much you powerin it wit?

 

It's a 12, running at 2ohms. 500.1 powering it, a bit under powered. Box is tuned to 33hz and am pretty happy with it. Other than the size of the box. If I remember right it's 3.5cf box.

What's the recommended air space on that thing ported vs enclosed

 

That 15 is gonna sound awesome when you get it in their. Air space specs are sealed- 1.5 min 2.0 max ported - 3.0 min 4.0 max and 600w rms.

 

Yeah dude i love RE audio because they deliver so much more sound then all these so called higher end subs from other companies. Not dissing kicker cuz solo x and the L series are killer! but yeah on that 15 i would run a ported box because i think it just sounds louder and pushes a hell of alot of air!

 

but actually i got it from sonicelectronix for 300 with a dual 2 ohm 15'' SEX and a matched amplifier and new wiring!

 

Haha sick! I just ordered a new re sex15 and a ported box made for it at 3 cubic feet. I can't wait to get my old 15 kicker out and get this new one in. And I'm looking forward to not having a 4.8 cubic foot box taking up the whole back of my extended cab haha

It came with the sub, I ordered it off ebay it was like 275 for the sub and box.

 

Nice man! haha im excited! and also glad somebody else realized that RE audio make some quality subs. Im kinda sick of hearing people say they have kicker or JL in their trucks. i mean no offense cuz tthey sound good but still.

 

Oh yea I love my kicker it did its job great, but I finally decided it was time to upgrade to something with better quality and that takes up a lot less space. I almost went with an ssa xcon 12 but I didn't wanna take the time to build a decent box for it.

 

RE audio makes some quality subs with amazing sound! my next upgrade in the future is to a 18'' RE audio Fi Btl. but thats after my SEx 15 dies

 

Yea the Fi stuff is great, you should check out the ssa stuff, I had a ssa 10 that hit harder and clearer than most peoples 12s.
