Want that Custom but Stock look...

So, I have an 03 F150 King Ranch Texas Edition (dont really know what the Texas Edition really is) with 4 Captians Chairs, keypad entry, black bed cover, and a newly added custom pin stripe, two tone paint White with Tan bottom.
(Pics soon, promise)

Anyways, I want to make it "mine" by doing some customization but I also want to keep that stock look, its clean!

Right now my plans are...
-Spyder Dual Halo CCFL Chrome Projector Headlights
-Spyder Altezza Tail Lights Chrome
-Spyder Halo Fog Lights
-Chrome Accents (Door/Tailgate handles, Mirrors, and the strips between the front and rear doors)
-Billite Grille
-Two 12" Kicker Solo Barics in a custom box in the back that replaces the rear console, one speaker facinf forward one facing down. (kinda like this https://www.f150online.com/forums/19...e-sub-box.html)
-Complete sound system over haul.

Anyways...looking for more ideas, help with my ideas, anything you may think that will look good but not take too much away from the stock look.

Do yourself a favor and stay away from those cheap ebay projectors. If you want good quality projectors that will last, do it right with a retrofit kit. Post up some pics of your truck so we can give you some pointers on other small things to do.

if you want to keep it clean looking and not like you went and picked it up from a mexican at the home depot, stay away from the cheap projector lights, do not get any aftermarket tail lights unless they are led lights that have the same oem red lens, definitely stay away from all that ugly *** chrome - this will make it look like you went down to walmart to outfit your truck. I think just a billet grille and a nice dual exhaust with stainless tips will look very clean and very nice. What you said you want it to look like and what you said you had planned for it did not match up at all. Just take all the money you save from not buying tail lights and chrome crap and spend it on a nice exhaust system. If you want some nice headlights just get a set of lightning or lightning replicas. They are actually cheaper than the ****ty japanese ebay ones and they look and perform a thousand times better. If you want to add shiny stuff to your truck (which it seems you want to) you could also get a stainless grille guard or bull guard.

I would knock the top 4 things off the list if you want the "custom but stock" feel.

x2. Top four are going to make it from Texas Edition to Mexico Edition

And BTW, the Texas Edition was a dealer-added pinstripe. Just an excuse to have you gullible Texicans pay $500 over MSRP because it has "Texas" written on it.

The chrome wont be alot, i've seen a few trucks with it and they look good, not overly chrome.

As far as the headlights/Tail lights, I thought Spyder Brand was a pretty high end brand...not Ebay crap.

these were what i was thinking
Headlights-http://www.spyderauto.com/product.php?id=PRO-YD-FF15097-1P-CCFL-C&t=Ford-F150-97-03---Will-Not-Fit-Anything-Before-Manu-Date-June-1997--1PC-CCFL-LED-Projector-Headlights-Chrome

Tail Lights-http://www.spyderauto.com/product.php?id=ALT-YD-FF15001FS-C&t=Ford-F150-Flareside-01-03-Altezza-Tail-Lights-Chrome

I have thought about the exhaust, probably just gonna do a simple 1 in 2 out dual out the back. I dont want true duals because I dont want too agressive of a sound.

I'm not from Texas
I didnt buy it from a dealer, got it from a friend for 10K
It didnt have a pinstripe, I put one on it.

Also, I've seen alot of trucks with the chrome accents and it looks good. I'm not going stupid mexico overboard with it like with the window trim, fender trim, gas cap cover, etc...just mirrors, studs between the windows and door handles.

The Headlights and tail lights i've seen on other trucks as well, the are pretty nice.

I do want the custom look but I dont want it to take away from the OVERALL look of the truck, like a lift, fender flares, brush/bull bars, crazy amounts of lights or the lights behind the grille things.

Pics are a must for a better idea, but my opinion without is no dice on the chrome and projector lights. Smoked Lightning front and rear lights with HID and LED's to me are a Custom but stock look. Painting to match the rear tailgate handle, and body color badge overlay stickers are too. Making the steps (I assume it has them and they are beige?) the other color maybe too? Chrome is bling, and too much takes the stock look right away. If you like it, go nuts though!!! Who am I to say.

Spyder is a cheap plastic brand from China. Its popular with the ricer crowd for looking like crap.

Those headlights look like CRAP. And you have the STX/King Ranch headlights already on the truck! Thats like trading in a Porsche for a Honda!
