True Blue's progress thread
Bought a fx4 valance and paintable grill shell of CL last night for 50 bucks. I think im gonna have them PTM and add a NFAB pre runner bar PTM as well. Was looking for the crystal clear fog lights and there 114.00 gonna need to wait. Starting to take money out of my tire & bilstine fund for spring other wise i wont beable to install the lift... Bummer dude... I wish I had more cash now!
I honestly have almost just done it but theres alot i want to paint and i want to buy bilstines for it as well.. Plus the trucks going into storage for the winter soon. Height permitting im thinking about a coil spacer as well if it will fit in the garage. but im deff stoked!!! I have grown to love this bodystyle truck so much that i will probally never buy another style again.
Dang that's a good deal on the hood! I've been waiting for one to pop up around here forever cause I don't want to have to pay shipping on it haha. Your trucks gonna be looking sick with all the parts your collecting man!
Im gonna have a ton of work to do over winter but come spring time its not even going to look like the same truck.
Five0Merc - Thanks for the info I would of ended up using my stocks if you wouldnt of said anything.

Yea you definitely will need more heavy duty ones. And yea man it's gonna be a huge turn around when you see it finally finished. I remember how excited I was when I first started collecting parts for my truck haha.
im not stopin till till is the quality of gatorcrews truck. But thats way far off thats been alot of my inspiration so far. buyin little by little is almost kinda fun keeps thing exciting.
it might take 20 years but ill pick at it little by little. Luckily this is not my daily driver sits most of the year so i can work on it as needed or when i have cash. Wife gets pissed but ony sees sunny days and never seen rain or snow since ive owned it.
I seen where you said you are thinking about a coil spacer as well. Do it when you put the lift on! I regret not putting my old daystar spacer back on with my 3" coils. Now they just sit in the garage until I get some motivation to go tear the front end apart and order an AAL.
