Fabtech 7.5 inch lift kit

Well I have been searching for awhile and I think I'm going to go with the Fabtech 7.5 inch lift kit

My truck is a 2wd and completly stock right now...

I need to know exactly what i would need to do before getting the lift.

What do you guys think??

Great lift I've never had a problem with it. Just make sure you have proper tools, hopefully access to air tools since it makes it much easier. Easily have it done in a day if your mechanically inclined. 2wd lifts are easy as pie.

Do I have to do anything else to the truck to add the lift like change out parts?

I have the same lift and as Lightning Expo said, with the correct tools, it's a pretty easy install

Also check your tie rods and ball joints. If they are going out it would be best to replace them while you have everything apart installing the lift.

Altamonte area. Like buxton said you should go ahead and replace all ball joints and tie rods along with possibly changing your end links. Don't forget to flip your sway bar when you do the lift. PM me if you need some advice. If you plan on going bigger at anytime I recommend doestch upper control arms so you can run spacers.

Fabtech lifts come with pretty detailed instructions and step by step pictures, so you shouldn't have any problems.
