180k!!! :)

my truck is just about at 180,000 miles and still going strong.
Only mods is a 40 serries and CAI.
Im curious what have u guys fixed toward this milage.
not sure if i need a tune up since i bought it used and dont know if the previous owner ever got one...

couple problems ive had are....
-leaking radiator
-leaking pan gasket (all new tranny fluid!)
those two got fixed

now i have this weird skipping when i hit my gas hard.
i dont know if its normal in trucks because this is my first one.
but how do i know its time for a tune up or not.

Id say with that amount of miles.....and the problem you are stating....probably time for a tune up.....Also depends on how much of those miles you put on it. could be just spark plug change...Some smarter people will let you know something, but thats a start.

Sounds like some sort of miss. Might be time for new plugs and wires.

I'd definitely start with plugs and wires. And depending how many miles you put on it since you got it make sure you do oil (obviously), air filter, differential fluid, and other things like that.

suspension, suspension, suspension

I'm clocking 215-220K right now and I can't keep up with everything. Ball joints, shocks, bushings, etc, etc

Parts and labor for plugs and wires is about $400. You can do it yourself for just over $100 - genuine Motorcraft plugs and wires.
