Wiring fogs

I'm looking to install some OE fogs and don't really know anything about electrical wiring. My truck did not come pre-wired for fogs and having an OE switch doesn't matter to me. Can anyone explain to me how? I just want a simple toggle switch or something. Thanks in advance

Check your truck again. Most of our trucks were wired for fogs. Look under the headlights.

A lot of people don't know the wires are there. It's worth looking again.

I agree. First time I read that several years ago I ran outside full of hope but I should've known my base model didn't have them.

I kinda like having mine on a separate switch. On/off whenever you want, but the downside is if you forget they're on and go inside...well...

I hear you. Even if the switch has a light it's easy to forget.
