Expy bucket swap problem

Well, the whole time I've been doing this Expy bucket swap for my bench, I've been waiting for something to go wrong to make it not work, and it finally happened. The 4th hole that I had to tap for the driver's seat (front right) does not line up correctly with the seat bracket. Awesome. Don't know what to do now

I'm halfway done with thsi myself ( console in, looking for a new seat)
How off is it? Have you tried adjusting the seat tracks? In other vehicles I've had similar problems, and just moved the seat tracks around.

Well, I think I can move it over to line up. I think. I don't have the right size wires, so I have to pull it back out anyway in order to run my new ones. I was in a hurry this afternoon when I first saw it didn't go. But when I got home tonight, I just kinda pushed it a little, and it had a little give. It's about two or three inches off, at least. With it just resting there, you can't see the hole through the bracket at all

it should be outboard from the transmission hump. You sure you got the right spot?

I'm pretty darn sure. It seems like the logical place for a 4th spot to put a bolt in, it just doesn't match up exactly. There's certainly not another spot close enough for that bracket that would make more sense.

It's okay... I'd call me dumb.

I got them in. But I definitely had to put the other three bolts in to hold their spot, and then push the bracket about 2 inches over to then put the bolt in. i don't know if it got bent at some point, but it's obvious that it's supposed to fit, it just didn't match up perfectly. The passenger seat DID match perfectly.

Another question. How do you remove the seatbelts? I don't have the one connected to the seats. But the cover at the bottom gets in the way a bit of the seat moving backward. Plus my buckle drops to the floor every time I take it off, so I wanted to replace them anyway. It looks like that cover is riveted on the belt. Do I have to drill that off, or does it have snaps into the floor that I can just pry up?

Oh, and I'll take pics soon

the expy seat belts should be bolted up on the back of the seat frame like right where the seat folds

Oh these do not. They're just the seats, no belts attached. I'm still using the original F150 seatbelts. The cover of the over the seatbelt where it attaches to the floor just rubs the power seat control cover (and the manual control cover on the passenger side).

im guessing you have an extended cab then. The female side (buckle) is the part that should be bolted to the inner seat frame side.

this my passenger seat out of the truck (expy frame with modified lightning passenger seat)

that cover probably pulls straight up off the base, and then the seatbelt is bolted down with a T45 or T50

oh ya you've got the roof mounted seat belts

here's the written version of ford's instructions, not very helpful pictures either.....
Remove the scuff plate.
Disconnect the front seat safety belt adjustable D-ring.
Pull back the cover.
Using the special tool, remove the bolt and plastic washer.
Disconnect the front seat safety belt adjustable D-ring
Using the special tool, remove the front safety belt anchor bolt
Remove the safety belt retractor and pretensioner bolt.
Push in to release the tab and disconnect the safety belt retractor pretensioner electrical connector.
Remove the safety belt retractor and pretensioner

I like how they say "special tool" instead of just saying what torx size you need.

I don't really know what a D-ring is, but I'm sure I can figure it out when I get in there.

Good to know I can probably just pull it up from the base. Thanks for the help
