Tires Louder After Rotation???

I rotated tires this weekend as the rears were worn down more than the fronts (wear patterns look good though). They are non-directional tires with a fairly aggressive knobby thread. They seem to be louder than now... they 'howl' more.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Thx

Thx. I googled it, and man there are alot of people talking about this. All my other tires have been regualr street tires, so maybe I just never noticed it before. Thx.

Usually as M/T's and A/T's start to get some wear they tend to become a little louder. Maybe the ones that were on your rear are at this wear point and now that they are in the front you can hear them better.
