Clean and prep everything before you pull it. Don't want anything falling down into the heads. Or coolant passages. When going back together, make sure you follow torque sequence properly.

I guess torque sequence is really important when everyone you ask about an intake removal tells you about it, well I guess the easiest thing would just be for me to follow the chilton guide to the letter
