Yeah, thread fail. If I had over 500k, I would be boasting it proudly. Even if it was wore down and tired out.. 500k is a huge milestone. My transmission made it to 191k before I ever had a problem with it, and I thought that was AWESOME. 13 years of faithful service.

I met a bum on the streets one time riding a motorized bike. He came into our job site looking for cans and I complimented his bike. Opened up a can of worms doing at. He then proceeded to explain that he had a million miles on that engine and had been to Chicago and back (from Oregon) with it. I just laughed and said "right on buddy, take it to the moon". He said once he got enough pop cans he would.

I started reading this thread and almost pooped my pants. not really but damn 500k would be impressive. I've heard of a E150 at 300k but not close to 500k.

theres a video of a E150 on youtube its called tribute to the milloin mile van or something like that i think, the guy has pics and videos of the odometer as it gets higher in miles and finally shows it rolling over from 999999 miles and the odometer just started back over at all zeros, but it says he had it serviced regularly and only had to replace simple things like the alternator, stuff like that, but i believe it said it had the 5.4 but im not sure, im pretty sure the video is still on youtube though. and i have a 91 jeep cherokee that was my first car and it has 299xxx miles on it and is still running but starting to knock real bad though, if i had to guess it dont have much longer, its on its last leg lol, cant complain though on thing thats been replaced beside plugs wires etc. is the waterpump, starter, and alternator and a few batterys lol its had a hard life
