No way could i give up my f150 for a ranger. I mean after all i traded out of a 2000 with 213000 with very little rust 4x4 of road ex cab ranger into a 97 f150 with 150000 miles that ended up having nearly completely shot rockers. no way would i go back, even with the rust and the 4.6 i dont wanna give her up.

to the op i LOVE your truck and only wish that i could afford to buy it and have two black 97-98 4x4's!!

Thats what i thought about the ranger getting only 18mpg but for a 60L fill up ive averaged almost 600km a tank so my math may be a little off but its still cheaper then the f150. Also to everyone else there is more then one insurance company but its all a pretty much set price.

Good luck with the sale...but good luck figuring out how to afford two vehicles. Not to bkwo my own horn, but most of you guys have probably seen my truck...pretty darn nice. I tried to sell mine a couple years ago when I was wanting a super duty. I asked what I thought was a fair price for both parties. Shoot, I didn't even get a single phone call for the three months it was on the market, much less any lowball offers. I mean nothing. You will not get what that truck is worth and you will not get anything for the mods. I een attempted a trade one time and the dealer flat out told me he didn't want my truck because he wouldn't be able to move it and literally refused my business. It was pretty funny.

Here's another point no one has mentioned yet...if you can't afford two vehicles, then maybe you should have waited to buy a new ine after you sold the old one.

^ That's a good point.

Maybe take the F150 off the road for a while? Turn in the tags, drop the insurance, etc. If you're not going to get much coin for it, and you obviously like the truck so much, hang on to it. When better days come around, you can get it tagged\insured again and not have the regret of selling it.

Its not that I cant afford the two vehicles its that I cant afford to have two on the road at the same time. Its starting to look like parking the 150 and doing some work on it is starting to look like the way to go.

OMG!! We pay $270.00 a month for insurance. That is full coverage on 2 2002 F150's (1 2wd + 1 4x4), the 24' Boat, the SeaDoo, and the HOUSE (with earthquake rider). *Making a mental note to NEVER move to Canada.*

thanks to my new job for the summer that allows me to write my gas for the ranger off and me selling my four wheeler the 150 gets to stay. I am now able to afford the insurance and gas for both vehicles. Thank you to everyone who convinced me not to sell it. I owe you guys big time.
