Thumbs up Mod thread

Alright i guess this is as good a place as any to start a thread for all my modifications?
i have a 99 XLT 4.6 in Oxford White. Just bought it... 2/23/11
anyways, im starting on my mods this weekend.
I bought a friends tonneau cover that was bought in 98. its a Leonard and its maroon so im borrowing my friends compressor and spray gun and PTMing over the weekend. Also tearing up the dash and interior to PTM the dash over the guages and around the stereo. possibly painting door panels and inside window pillars as well. hopefully will be posting pics at each step =) any advice or tips would be much appreciated! thanks!

I like the stock interiors, they are trimmed nicely. At least the gray like I have. I have seen some browns, not bad either...

I would spend time on the outside if your looking to PTM. Things like the mirrors, grill, door handles and stuff like that can really make it look clean.

ok so i guess i should have listed the mods already done to the truck..
I have a JVC headunit with amp and sub and whatnot.
most of the outside is how i want it.. i need to repaint my tonneau cover
other than that, the only thing im dead set on changing is the grill surround from chrome to white.. everything else i havent decided.
and i know the interior is kinda high school but i like how it looks. its all personal preference right?
and as far as the bumpers, ive been going back and forth between painting them white.. with all the oklahoma red clay it would be a PITA to keep white line-x clean.. and with all the high winds and stuff i dont want white powdercoat to chip off.. any advice please?

i would just go with black linex on the bumpers if your worried about keeping it clean, or just the spray on rustoleum liner. It's a whole lot cheaper so you can touch it up for next to nothing if you ever have too.
