PATS steering coulmn same as pre-PATS?

Unhappy PATS steering coulmn same as pre-PATS?

im in desperate need of a steering column for my truck. is there any difference between one from a truck with PATS and one without?

1997 F150s didn't have PATS. The only thing that would be different would be the antenna ring mounted around the key cylinder.

but would one from a PATS truck work on a truck with no PATS? ex: a 2000 column for a 97 truck.

PATS is not the issue.

Check the Hollander interchange for suitability.
