FX4 wheels on the way! Now tire size?

Finally purchased a set of FX4 wheels for my scab.

I'm sure there have been numerous threads on tire size, but I didn't see one on 17" sizes.

So I'm wanting to know what options I have on tires forvthese 17" FX4 wheels?
I am not lifting or lowering. Just want a nice clean look, that will drive nice without issues.

265/70/17. Is what I've seen on stockers.

Any help & pictures are appreciated.

I'll post pics after I get them on!

Here's mine with the size you're talkin about. 265/70/17s and the truck has a 2" coil spacer in this pic.

If you have a 4x4, a 285/70-17 (33x11.50) or 295/70-17 (34x12.00) would be your best choices depending on how large you want to go.

265/70 were the stock size, I'm pretty sure.

There were 285/75/17s on my FX4 when I got them. Seemed like a reasonable sized tire to me.

dirtyd88, did your tires rub anything when turning the wheel? when my tires need replacement, im kicking around the idea of going to a little bigger size.

I have the FX4 wheels. I bought the truck used in September and it has 285/70 R17 on it. They run great.

285/70/17 is about the most common upgrade, needs nothing to be done to put on a stock 4x4. I myself am gonna try 295/70/17's next as I think again no alterations need doing for that.

These wheels/tires are going on my 2 wheel drive.
I guess I'll look for the standard 265s.
I'll update with pics.

I think 255's are standard on the 4x2, but we have 265/75 R16 on our 4x2. No modifications were needed.
