Hey new to the site. Here is my problem I had a misfire on my truck so had all the spark plugs replaced and the #1 coil. Then when I went to get the smog test done they tell me that it failed the EVAP & Catalyst portion of the test and that I have to drive it to reset the computer, so I drive it to LA from San Diego and back twice and it still isn't passing. The guy told me something about a mode 6. Today he hooked up the monitor and it is still not passing he suggested that I contact a dealership and have them flash my computer. Does any of this sound right or has anyone had the same problem?

 

Are they throwing a code or are they just coming up(test not complete)?
You probably just need to complete the drive cycle.
