fyi I just did a 5.4 swap and I am still using the 4.6 CC module. I will double check that it works correctly tomorrow, if so then they are probably not engine specific

The servos are not engine specific.

I found old F150 accessories list from 2003.
There are two parts number for Speed Control kit:

Speed Control**
For 4.2L Engines, Includes Black Leather Steering Wheel 1L3Z-9A818-AA

For 4.6L & 5.4L Engines, Includes Black Leather Steering Wheel 1L3Z-9A818-BA

Tousley Ford parts dept still gives the price to the kit 288.98, but also lists that item has been discontinued.

So does that mean I could pull a servo out of an Expedition, F250, and a Navigator from a junkyard?

In addition to servo, you'd also need a deactivator switch, which is located near brake fluid reservoir. At least in my 2003 XL, it seems that the base of the brake fluid reservoir needs either to be modified to accommodate the sensor or to be replaced from a vehicle which had the sensor installed.

Cool thanks. If it will ever stop raining here, I'm gonna hit up the local junkyards. If anything else pops into anyone's head about what else I might need, please feel free to speak up

Okay so I went to a junkyard today, and found a few servos, but I hadn't taken a good look at my truck yet, or the connectors, mostly, so I wasn't sure just what I was supposed to pull. I took a couple pics of where the servo would go on my truck, and there's a connector that's sitting there, attached to the fuse box (though not connected to it). Is that connector that I'm supposed to plug into the servo?

I'm guessing that's the servo plug. The plug on my '99 has a single row of 7 wires in it, but my '03 work truck (F-150 7700) has the same plug w/ 8 wires in it. The loom wrap and wire colors on my '03 look like your pic ...

Here is the pic of the reservoir without and with brake switch:

Please note that the switch has been subject to a recall because overheating issues which might cause vehicle fire.

Oh I see... Fairlaner, does your '03 work truck have cruise? Or do I for sure need the 10-pin?
And Pigginton, I have to have that style reservoir in order to make this work, huh? So I'm not just looking for the servo, but the reservoir as, well?

The switch in the reservoir is for redundancy.

Both my '99 and my '03 work truck are XL's w/ factory cruise.
