headlight switch

so i need a new headlight switch. bad. but cant find a decently priced one with fogs. but my factory fogs are gone and the aftermarket ones are hooked up through another switch. so is it possible to use a non-fog switch? i know one of the connectors is different but wasnt sure about the other

Check your local craigslists also. There are 2 F150's being parted out in my area. Seem to be common, worth looking anyways.

Thanks Ex, that's what I was looking for. Since there are two plugs in the back I wasn't sure if the one for the headlights themselves were the same or not. And ice been checking there as well Toyz. All but one were non-fog and guy wanted almost what they cost from Ford

Gotcha. I thought about doing the autolamps thing but think I'll just grab a cheap non-fog switch and be done with it

I had factory switch with no fogs, then got a factory kit to add factory fogs to mine. came with new switch and all wires, and lights. switch was exactly the same as for plugs. then to add fog lights, you splice into one of the existing wires. so yes i would assume it would work in reverse but I didn't do it that way so I am not 100%.

I would find someone parting an f150 out so you can try it for cheap...if my old switch hadnt broken when i took it out, i would be happy to send it to you at the cost of shipping.
