I know I don't have that option in my 03.

I have it in my 98, had it in the 01 as well, both XLT's.

The 98 has a sensor adjust as well. Can't recall if the 01 did.

It's funny you mention that, I was thinking of trying junkyarddog.com. I didn't know it was so easy to convert to autolamps, all i need is a few parts.

My 03 SCrew XLT had auto lamps. My 02 SCrew FX4 Lariat has auto lamps and had DRL's until I removed the relay under the "surfboard" dash piece. Hubby's 02 SCab XLT does NOT have auto lamps. Any ideas where the sensor adjust for the auto lamps might be?

Part # YL1Z78046A34AAA : Cover ASSY List $96.05 Net: $76.84

Color is Tan, I dont know what the part # is for grey but thats the one I ordered from ford. i just asked them if they could help me out by giving it to me wholesale ( I told them I was in a tight spot with my bills and such.. gave them a false story shame shame on me I know) but at least i got it about $20 bucks cheaper

Edit: The light sensor comes with the panel thats why its so much.

Well well, I didn't know I get the light sensor with it for that price..I think I'll buy that from Ford after all. I'll buy the light switch from Amazon, $70 as opposed to $160 at Ford.

160.00 is msrp they are trying to rip you off, its supposed to be 96.05 your cost and 76.84 wholesale cost

Edit: sorry re read your post, the light switch with the fog light option is quite expensive, I would still see if they would help you out wholesale, the more you buy the better your chances are getting the whole sale price. i always ask " if i order all of these things can i get the wholesale price on them that way i can order more"

I called a local "stealer", they have just that plastic piece for $90, without the light sensor. The light sensor is about $60..more money for just the plastic cover? No that's ok, we don't need a bailout fordf150farmer if you're worried about downtime I can just send my light sensor cover to you first, I don't mind a week or two without it. I think it's the same one on the '99-'03 models? Does anyone know?

check that part # i gave you then ask them what it is in grey, it is supposed to come with the light sensor already on it. I would also call another ford dealership, that one sounds like they are money hungry.
