Tow mirror marker lights

I have been contemplating putting tow mirrors on my truck when it warms up, and the set i want (power adjust) has amber turnsignals in them. if i remember correctly they are led. I dont want these lights to be turnsignals, i would rather they be marker lights that come on with the park lights. in the interest of saving a lot of trouble i would like to hook into the power wire that lights up the door switches. my question is, would the led's pull to much on that circut or would they be ok? i really dont want to fish a new wire from both doors to the fuse pannel. Thanks for any input!

Most mirrors like that tend to have the lights come on with markers anyways...at least I think that's how te Super Duty mirrors work.

If they are that way, just cut the blinker wire and your fine.

Ahhh i guess that makes sense.... kinda like how some of these trucks dont have fog lights, but are wired for them. now all i need is to do a few odds and ends before i can splurge on some new mirrors.

I just can't decided if I like those Mirrors or not. I would love a set of nice tow mirrors I can see well out of, but I'm not sure I am sold on the looks of them or not though....
Maybe with the big part painted white.

Yea if my truck was any color other than black i dont think i would like them. Im not too wild about the flat black (id rather have gloss) but i do enough towing id really like to be able to see more and better.

... and also with this truck im more concerned with function over looks.... the drive train is solid and reliable, but man is the ol girl rusty =( and has lots of oxidized paint.

i just put factory ones on my truck. aftermarket convex mirrors are fixed on most but not on the ford ones. i would go with ford ones!
plus it looks factory!

The 10th gen F-150s didn't come with tow mirrors from the factory.

Also, wiring for turn signals varies from truck to truck. You would have to pull your door panel off to see if you had an empty clip hanging there or not.

Those mirrors sure do look cool as far as functionality, I just don't think they match the contours of the 10th gen body very well.

your right, they dont, but i dont like the ones like Klitch has on his truck. im not sure what it is about them, but i like how these look better.

and when you say extra clip, do you mean another wiring plug? and if so where would it be? behind the little triangle plastic peice that covers the mirror back?
