Its silver and its kinda hard to find a silver 4x4 flareside lifted that I like. I have ideas for it but wheels and tires are going to kill me. Anybody know any places to get some cheap wheels and tires?

I have been looking there but will 35's with 17's fit under a flareside with just the t-bars cranked for the time being? Also has anybody used those fender flares, if so anybody got a picture with them on a silver flareside?

35x12.5s will work with the stock wheels if you crank the torsion bars up. You could run some nice wheels, but they will either have to have a postive offset or not be very wide. I say that, assuming, that you dont want to cut on things to keep them from rubbing. If you put a body lift on the truck, I have seen 37x13.5" tires on 18x9s ran with that set-up that didnt rub at all. It all depends on your wheel/tire combination.

Which fender flares are you talking about? Personally, I think that the OEM 4x4 flares are the nicest looking ones for these trucks.

As far as the truck, you need to drive it around to check it out. Get up under the truck and look for oil leaks and things out of place. You can get a good idea of where the vehicle has been by checking under the hood or under the truck. Unless he details it relentlessly then you can get an idea.

I think there the brushguard ones, there is sometimes an add that pops up on this site for them, I'm still looking into them. I will prob drive it sometime this week, and check out it more I'm just scared someone has beat the hell out of it or something. What are some signs of something major is going out? What do I need to look at?

You have a sick truck btw, so does five0merc (i like the way stance of it, plus I do harvest every year.)
add thanks for all the help, I'm sure I will have more question though.

Bushwacker flares? Personally, imho, unless you are running a wide wheel with low backspacing, I think they look tacky. But thats just me

I am running 35x12.5o's right now. I have the t-bars cranked and on the stock rims. You will more than likely have to trim just a little bit off the front lower valance though. I had to but you really can't tell. Hope that gives you a litte bit of an idea how it looks. If you look through my photos there is a couple pictures of a 2000 silver single cab on a trailer that has 35's as well. I have the factory flares a does the silver one in my pictures. I was thinking about going with the bushwacker cut outs but I don't like how they look from the front. Stick out too far and don't flow too well from the front.

Yeah the bushwacker ones, but I went and looked at the truck again and what he said was a 4.6 v8 turned out to be a v6 with 4x4. Not really looking for a v6 so im on the search again. wish me luck.

Thanks, found a white one just like yours. But it was pretty rough.
