Have fun with that wes.. Cummins become unreliable at the 600 whp/ 1100rwtq mark... Mine is gonna be perfect for my needs.

I dropped the engine off at the machince shop today to be rebuilt. The Injection pump has been sent of to be reworked to flow more fuel...

My thought exactly. Your EGTs would melt the turbos making that much power. Talk about a built engine too.. Would be interesting to see if pulled off though. Only person I have ever heard of running that much power had over 30k into his engine with dual injection pumps, twin turbos, and run EGTs close to 1600*

What is the turn around on your engine and pump?

Well the motor wouldnt be so bad of a time to wait but the builder has a 6-8 wk back log... So realisticly it will be like 10-12 wks when its finish. I'll have the pump back on wednesday.

The company i use to work for we built 2 10 sec trucks, and the were both Common Rail 6bt in newer Dodges. Power wise they were 690/1380 to the wheels, and just in normal daily driving they both had egts is the 1500* range...

^^I've read a good deal on this... I'd say go for the early 90s or the early Common rail 5.9's (03-04). It's a simpler swap

i know it would be easier but if im going to do it i want to get at least 700RWHP and over 1000RWTQ and the truck still be reliable and if im going to do this swap ill do it right im thinking of putting a dually in the rear with 3.73 gears and a dana 60 in the front with 3.73 or 4.10 i think ill also get som guages out of one of the new trucks with complete harness and computers i wanted to also box my frame all the way through with 1/2 iron and then run some 1 1/4 ton or bigger leafs on my axle my goal for it is to be a daily driver and be able to pull 25,000lbs or more with 5th wheel and about 15,000lbs tongue pull i dont have anything that big i just wanted it to be able to do that and i also wanted to do weekend sled pulls

Pictures to come once I get everything back... Got an email from the engine builder, Gonna cost about $2300 to rebuild the 4BT. The injection pump is finished and is on its way back. Ordered some 3" OD .125" wall tubing.

After looking at a Banks unit for a 6.0 PSD the inlets and outlets are huge..Looking for a 97-00 Dodge 2500 Intercooler.......

So after the engine is paid for, I will then start saving for the engine adapter, and the Transcontrol module. Then once I find out exactly how I will plumb the twin setup, along with fuel and other goodies...
