DEPO Headlights w/Projectors

Hi,

I bought some Depo headlights with a projector bulb that comes/came on with the highbeams. The projectors lasted about 8 months then both quit working. Everything is connected and fuses aren't blown.

Is this common and are there replacement bulbs available?

Thanks,
Roland

Easy and worth it to fix, or just get a new setup?

If i'm thinking correctly the lights he is refering to are the cheap e-bay projectors, therefore they don't have ballasts. Hid's are what run off of a ballast.

I had a set of these for a few months at one time, I had the same problem with one of the lights. There is like a self grounding rod on the back of the projector bulb that breaks loose. I fixed the one on mine several times and it just kept coming loose at the most inconvenient times. I would suggest to just trash them and get a set of the lightning style headlights.

Have you checked the bulb? Those aren't stock so you must've ran its own wiring, go triple check everything with a DMM
