Pictures of lower valence removed? 99-03?

Pictures of lower valence removed? 99-03?

does any body have the small strip removed from the bottom of their valence? im guessing it would be on the 99-03s, dont think the 97-98s have them. i would just like to see some pictures first before i remove it. thanks

I'm not exactly sure what you're talking about, the front bumper has three pieces, top pad, bumper, and valance.

I ripped the very bottom of mine off...i think it looks better, the bumper curves down more

Raptor i believe he is meaning that he has the 2-piece style valance and wants to take the bottom of it off to where it looks more like the 1-piece style.

i have the 2 piece valence. was lookin to remove the short piece on the very bottom. i thought ive read on here before of people removing it. i guess it wont hurt anything, correct?

alright thanks for the help bud. but yeah i think it will make the front look a little higher and be able to see the suspension a bit more

I have it removed on my truck....but I'm lowered....

You can barely tell in this picture, but it's gone...

the reason it's there in the first place in for aerodynamic reasons. since a 4x4 generally sits higher, it deflects the air flow down more to avoid causing turbulence underneath the chassis.

however, how much it actually helps I'm sure is a debatable topic...

I took mine off and lost 5 MPGs. Its on there for a reason.
