Haha yea. I actually didn't mind being up there in the fall for hunting season. But yea it is definitely way better than here. I will be going back to northern california when I get done here. You get any more pics or info on the truck?

 

i emailed the salesman twice but nothing in return, and called the dealership but havent gotten called back. but w2's came today so we will see what happens. might just drop the cash on some new ball joints n a new torque converter on the 97.

 

got some pics of new gear i put on my truck in the past year, new headlights n tail lights n sound system n skull on the 4x4 shifter. they are just to big to post on here sadly.

 

Yea. I got w2 the day before I left and got those filed them and got my return on the 1st. threw that all in savings until I get back and start ordering ttruck parts. Either way you go you have a good looking truck. I have had mine for a while before I started putting nice stuff into it. Had to do all the front end and tires. General maintenance stuff. Finally able to start throwing some wanted stuff into it.

 

Yea I haven't put any pics of my stereo yet. Need to do that and order some new black heads and SD tails.

 

took me a year to find tails that looked OE but were a crystal red. instead of the clear or LED style. im ready for a new head unit, thinkin a touch screen that can do my sat radio as well as my ipod, got it hooked up to an alpine amp n a JL w3 12". beats hard enough for me haha. I liked ND durring spring n summer n most of fall, I worked the oil patch up there. just didnt like all the snow in the winter haha.

 

Haha. I liked the snow. Just not when it was below 0. That would be a nice addition to your truck. I have the two 10's under my back seat. They are hooked to a kicker 1000.1 and they hit!! I never turn them up past half way. It took mne forever to find tails that I like. I am gonna take them apart and go black inside just so they aren't so bright red.

 

that would be cool! but my truck is red so it matches hahahaha. i wanna get new nerf bars n black them out n the DC-2's would be a great balance of black n bling. n i can pick up 5 of them for bout 700 bucks. for 17x9 with a 4.5 backspace

 

Damn where at?? Thats exactly what I am looking for. Your truck is gonna look good like that. I am gonna do black heads, black nerf bars, the black tinted tails, DC-2's and white line-x the rocker panels of my truck.

 

emailed ya the link. my heads are already blacked out. rockin factory tint on the rear windows n 35% on doors n a 15% stripe on the windsheild. wanna do the linex on the rockers like u were sayin but keepin it all black. and i wanna get rid of the tank rhino bedliner i have n paint it black.

 

Thanks man!! That would look good!! I was gonna go black but after getting my 35's on I like the all white body and I still wanna protect the rockers. I am also gonna redo body molding. I like having it on there on my truck. I think it would look good without, but think it will look good with them as well. My tint is gonna go to 20% up front.

 

yea i got snagged by ks law on the 35% on tint. they stripped it n i had to redo it n pay a $250 fine. but ima almost black out the rear windows which will make the fronts darker. plus the stripe on the windsheild helped a ton to darken the cab up. id keep the molding, our doors have alot of realistate. just a solid color will look kinda bland, but id def white out ur mouldings n leave em on there just to break up all that space. oh n check out option racing on ebay, they have some killer mirros that im lookin at. kinda like superduty mirrors for an F150.

 

I will do that. I've been looking for towing mirrors for a while. Can't find any that I really like. Do love the superduty mirrors though. I don't really have to worry about the tint laws cause my truck is ND registered here in california. Yea my back has 3% over the factory tint. I wanna do the windshield strip but not till I get my windshield replaced. I have a crack along the bottom.

 

you see those mirrors? bad *** eh? srry i had to go for a spin, this website makes me wanna drive my truck lol. im lookin at those mirrors n n i think thats all the cosmetic im gonna do, besides a front drivers fender that needs replaced (damn honda civic) n maybe a lil bigger fender flares.
