A Haynes manual for about $25.00 will do the trick for almost everything you should need for self repairs. This is what I refer to when/if I get stuck. Wiring diagrams are basic though, but there is help here if you ever need it

If you want the factory set, you may be able to find one on ebay. I bought my set for the 02 for about $85 plus shipping. At that time there were many sets on ebay.

I have a Haynes and it is riddled with errors and omissions

The Haynes manual is ok but it lacks many details and I have a found some errors.

I get good information on this website but I do use my Haynes manual also.

Yeah. AllData it is not (and even they aren't OEM but are a heck of alot better), but will get the non-majors done.I don't think I would use it as the Ford Bible to rebuild my engine. I would seek more complete info for the major things

I bought a Hayes manual for the wifes Focus and it is not all that helpful at all. The descriptions are vague and pictures are not clear. Kinda dissapointed.. i got more info from this site than i did the book.

Thanks for the info guys. When you say that you get most of the info from this site, do you mean any forum in particular? Or just ask questions and receive advice?

I am looking for basic instructions on how to take off door handles, paneling, etc.

Well, it depends what info you are looking for. If it's a particular item, then i try and post my question in that forum,if it's kind of vague, then i'll come here. First, i try and do a search though...
