Shifty:
I did do some reading on the option of a under drive pulley kit and e fan but I'm going to hold off on that for a while. I want to finish with the shift kit and tuner. Then it's clutch and gears.

Shifty:
I guess this is gonna sound dumb but I thought you had to do both underdrive pulley and fan to get that kinda HP. So when you did your e fan kit you just removed the stock fan and leave the pulley on?

yeah you just take the big nut off and the fan and clutch come off and you dont have to pull the 4 bolts on the water pump at all.

i used a simple wire from batt with 30amp inline fuse to a switch to the E-fan. and i have an aftermarket temp gauge. when i see the temp get above 200 i flick it on and within 30 secs its back down to 180*

They make those fuse with the temp probes and sell them at autozone and just about anywere but i dont trust those relays heard to many storys about them going bad.

So i used a military rule. Keep it simple stuiped.

In spite of what Shifty says, I would NEVER wire an e-fan direct, that's ghetto. Always use relays and controllers, that's what they are for. Simple in this case can be dangerous.

havnt had one prob yet. i tryed a 10amp fuse and kept popin fuses read up on this fan it draws over 15 amps on start up. so i got a 30 amp.

ive had the fan running for over 15 mins before with no probs at all.

yes relays are best but i dont trust them

Well I will definately have to do some more reading on E-fans.

I just finished my GOTTS mod! Wasn't that difficult at all. I left the silencer in for now. Gonna take her for a spin and she what it runs like.

Well he truck seems to run a little better between 2500 to 4000 rpms. I am a little conserned though. I drove it today about 200 mile and the truck blew a 0401 code (Exhaust gas recirculation flow insufficient detected). I'm assumimg it has to do with the gotts. I cleared the code with a code reader. Hope it was a fluke and doesn't come back.
Any Ideas guys?

0401's are usually plugged EGR ports in the throttle body. Nothing whatsoever to do with the Gotts mod.
