Need help deciding!!!!!!!!

So heres my problem: I'm trying to figure out what size of tires to put on my truck. I have a 2003 F150 XLT 4x4 Sport Flareside. I have leveled it out by cranking the torsion bars, my current tires are 265/70R17, now my truck already sits higher than most F150s I come across(even higher now that I leveled it). it looks as though the people before me put blocks in the back or maybe mine just came stock like that since it's a sport. now I know I can fit 285/70/17(33's) but I would like to do 315/70/17(35's) Please help any pictures I seem to find are useless. What do I do?

What engine do you have? Not to say the 4.6 can't handle the 35's, but it will surely change the power and murder your gas mileage.

I've only seen a few trucks that look good with 35's and no lift, (personal opinion), but I have seen quite a few with the 285 that look good. I believe the 285 fits a non lifted truck much better. Not to mention, that with cranked t-bars and 35's, you WILL have to cut the front valiance or deal with the minor rub from full turns. Personally I have a 02 Screw with 265 70 17's on 17x9 rims, and my next set will most likely be 285's.

I have the 4.6 with 4.10 gears and 35's, I get 500km to a tank. My truck is currently lifted 4 inches and the tires still rub on full turns (which is why I just bought a 3 inch body lift). If you aren't lifting the truck any more before buying new tires, get some 33s.

Thank you all very much much, I have the 5.4 so think I should be able to push 35's ok, main concern is the rubbing and with either size should I just go with the stock wheels and back spacers or new wheels as well?

305 65 17's or 285 70 17's would look nice on it.
