Question Need a battery..what do you have?

Well, hopefully i have about 4 more starts left in my Optima Red Top before payday on Friday. The needles sweep every time i start it, but it's not dragging yet. I am looking at going with a Sears Diehard Gold... anyone have any other suggestions? I dont think i am going to go back with an Optima..
Anyone else?

I don't think you can beat the Interstate Heavy Duty. Got mine at Sam's about 3 years ago for $79.

if you want agm and got $200, it's Sears Platinum. If you have Costco membership and you're on a budget go with them. $75 and 850cca.

Last week I used the coupon that pops up here and went to Advance Auto and got one of their silver batteries - $104 - free installation for a net of about $75 after core trade in. Has 2 year full return warranty and 72 mo pro-rated warranty. Seems a good deal for budget price.

I bought Autozone's best 2 yrs ago when I bought my 02 truck replacing the original. It's working fine so far. I think you are wasting your money on expensive batteries.

Although I have to admit the battery posts looked like they had been recycled and one of them was abnormally small causing some clamping problems when I installed it.

Ive got Exide's in all my vehicles with the exception of the f150. The truck has a Interstate Megatron in it. Both brands have been great batteries. The Exides are around 65 to $75.00 a piece and the interstate was $140.00. The interstate doesnt seem any better than the exide.

Here's what i do I buy the same autozone part number battery for all my trucks and my Mustang. Its to the point its always under warranty.
Way cheap way to do it.. I have 4 vehicles not counting the wifes Saturn. Slightly dishonest I guess but I just take the battery in there and they warranty it off my data.. I dont say any thing.
