What to do about fog lights hmmmmm

Well i swapped my front valance from the xl 4x4 to a 4x4 with fogs light openings. and now i have 3 options but im just not sure what i want to do.

since its a 98 its not prewired for stock fogs so i could add stock fogs (clear depo's) and then deal with wiring them and having to buy a switch and the fogs themselves.

i do have 2 6" 150w lights im not using and i can fab some brackets to use them in the valances stock openings. with this one i could also do some custom glassing on the valance to make the openings round but that will involve buying material for the brackets and more resin and matte

last option i have is to just leave them open and alone. i already painted it black and it reminds me of the raptor having them open with no fogs.

heres how it looks

compared to

One more afterthought could be some smaller lights like this.

I have a new valance that I was going to try fiberglass something up to look like gatorcrew's PIAA valance that he has. Maybe the small lights and the surrounding area glassed in would work.

Leave them open for a few weeks and see how you like it. I'd do a custom job on it though, if you decided to put lights in there, the open hole with the round light on the raptor looks kind of funny to me. Kind of like them open personally.

Yea that was the original plan when I got this valance cuz I'm not gonna wait around for a piaa to come around and not cost 250+

True. Think I'm gonna keep them open for now but I'm considering making a temp bracket to see how the 6" lights look in there

You could always throw some expanded metal behind them, paint them black or something close so they are subtle but noticeable.

Either option 1 with clear depo's or option two and glass in the full 6" lights.

IMO, the Raptor looks like someone forgot to install the fogs. I think they should've filled that spot with some in-house high-grade offroad lights or something. It looks retarded like that.

I like the open look, but I got brand new DEPOs just chilling in my room . I wanna put HIDs in them and put them on the truck, but they wont install themselves for some reason.
