replacing headlights, how to?

1998 f150. Im getting new head and marker lights for xmas and need to know how to remove stockers. I see some levers behind the nose that I think are the release mechanisms. Am i on the right track? If so will the markers come out too or will the bolts be accessible when headlight is out? Thanks

The turn signals have a single bolt at the top of the header panel. You can see those real easily if you look behind it. IMO, take the corners out first, then pull UP on those two metal "L" tabs to release the headlights.

corners use a 7mm hex head, or like a T25 in the center

If its your first time taking them out, you may want to tape off the edges of the grill surround so you dont chip the paint when you pull the headlight out.

I forgot what the corners used, I lost the OEM ones YEARS ago when I first has my ricer lights. Ahh, those were the days. IIRC I have 8mm OEM Ford bolts in there now.
