Bosch or Motorcraft ONLY. About ~$45/ea from any autoparts store. Be sure to rent the O2 sensor removal tool and to get them out, make sure the truck is COLD and run it for a minute or two to warm up the sensors so the metal expands.

Didn't know there was an 02 sensor tool. Must be something that slips over the 02 sensor? I was able to get an open end on both my upstreams without any problems.

Its a socket with a cutout for the pigtails to slide through

Ive used open end and the O2 socket. Both work fine. Heating up the exhaust slightly def helps with the removal.

I have to do this on my 02 screw. If the engine is COLD before I start to replace the sensors how long to I let the motor warm up for? Also should I use some lube like wd-40 to help? Should I do all 4 of the sensors or just the upstream ones?

Just run it for 2-3 mins. Spray some WD-40 on it. Just the fronts

At rockauto you can have a good quality o2 sensor. It is much cheaper from what you expect. just make sure you know how to replace an oxygen sensor before doing anything.

i just use the open end 7/8's wrench like the rest of the world. some WD40. sometimes heat if there stuck in there.

if you have Longtubes autozone has the o2's with a longer wire so you dont have to cut and splice.

Just did my bank 1 sensor 1. Passenger side upstream. Used the Bosch 15664 and a part similar to what jbrew showed above. Followed the directions in the How to thread. Remove the transmission dip stick line or you will never get the wrench on the sensor. It actually takes 3 times as long to get to the sensor as it does to replace it. And then as much time again to put everything back.

Rock Auto was the lowest price I found for that part. O'Reilly's was $79.99.

Try this link:

It was a great help to me.
