yea somewhere its causing the truck to think the clutch isnt in all the way when im going to start the truck. it just means im the only one that has the touch to start the truck but its just annoying
I would think it would be your start switch malfuntioning. I had mine replaced recently, due to it squeeking when clutch pedal pressed. The ford dealer told me their was a updated start switch and rod assembly. From Ford it cost $90 and the part # 6L3Z*11A152*BA. I hope this helps...
i would say its the starter switch but i can tell its the clutch acting up. it starts just fine but sometimes takes a bit to want to turn over then the code popped up and sort of confirmed it
Manual or automatic transmission?
With or without remote anti-theft module?
What does "it takes some time to start my truck to start " actually mean? No crank, cranks but doesn't fire, delayed crank, etc....

Manual trans xl without anti theft
Certain times I can mash the clutch in turn the key hold it and then after a bit it'll crank just fine. I'd say delayed crank such as it's not reading the clutch pedal being pressed in. It cranks just fine and sometimes it takes just 2-6 sec and others like 30sec

The same fault code can occur on vehicles either version of transmission. The interpretation of the DTC must be made in the context of the correct transmission.
