lookin for a lift

im lookin for a lift for my 2000 f150 i want prolly just 3 inch body right now. But i need one that is idiot proof so i can install. any inputs with websites or stores or even inputs on things to do. there is a couple pics of it on my page.

go with a performance accesories body lift. it gives you everything you need. you can get them on ebay, amazon.com, or summitracing.com

Yep. The PA is not hard to install, just time consuming and tedious.

Not to hijack, but what all is involved with a body lift on these trucks as far as shift linkage adjustments, steering, bumpers, etc...? Does it look weird in the back if you have a receiver hitch and raised bumpers?

look at mine and wandells gallerys, we have pics of the bumpers.

they have a bracket for the shift linkage and a steering extension, and plates to raise the bumpers.

do you know if that plate works for ranchhand bumpers or stock only?

probably with stock bumpers. i would take it to a place to get the ranchhand raised 3 inches so it would be secure to the frame better.
