My thoughts as well. I have another gauge BNIB same as one installed. Thinking about swapping the 2 and seeing what I get for numbers. Other thought is to maybe change location of the temp sensor???

Autometer got back to me and said you do not want the gauge and light grounded to the same spot. After trip home gauge with old wireing way claimed 200ish after 30 min drive at 55 on blacktops with and outside temp of 50s. Yesterday the heat gun showed a surface temp of 90ish when the gauge claimed 200. Moved the ground and gauge then said 115ish. This seems much more realistic with driving conditions and what digital temp reading of pan showed. So hopefully (fingers crossed) this was my issue. Going to drive it a few days and see how it acts. Hopefully pull the camper soon and see some numbers from that as well. Thanks to everyone for all the help.
