Fog light mod

Will the fog light mod, where you have fog lights on high beams and parking lights work on a 03 f150?

So I figured id try and do this. I can see how to do it.. The only issue im having is I cant get the face piece far enough out to be able to trim the plastic. After I broke all the heat weld things I can only get it to move out about 1/4"

Along with the switch ramp mod I joined #2 white/black to #12 brown.
I don't have auto lamps.
I can light my fogs anytime the parking lights are on.
