My truck was making a tik since I got it that sounded like leaking air. I just figured I had a small hole rusted inthe exhaust manifold. Well now its making a louder tic and it has a bit of a squeel with it. It still sounds similar to the air, but louder. I only notice it when I start from a stop and then go and if I let off the gas while its doing it, it goes away. I have no idea what it would be!

 

you might want to make sure all of your spark plugs are down and tight. sounds like one might me ready for take off

 

would that cause it to squeel? I got to thinking today and it can't be an air leak, because it doesn't do it when I rev the truck engine. ONly when the truck is moving. Now I'm thinking a bearing or something?

 

so what noise is it? click, squeal, ait leak? if its a click its most likely a wheel bearing
