Who has the LED license plate light on their truck? The two or three inch strip LED light that mounts at the top of the license plate. Where did you get it and the cost please? A PIC would be great.

 

I have one like this but I cut off the tabs and mounted it to shine on the plate. I mounted it with 3m double sided tape hidden under the tailgate all you see is the light shining down it even lights up the ground.

I have had mine on for over a year now and no problems. It looks like you have 8k HID's I believe those are illegal too. Don't believe it, look it up.

 

pwned haha HID's not in a DOT approved projector are illegal everywhere and its a shame they dont enforce it. that being said license plate leds are not illegal as long as they are white and not blue or red or some other color. i have some 194 Leds in place of the stock bulbs and ive had no problems
