fog lights again

I've searched the past threads and I found what I wanted, but the link on that thread is dead. What I need to know is how to wire the factory fog lites to a seperate switch so that I can turn them on, no matter where the headlite swtich is (on/off). Can any body help? Thanks

Do I have to modify the headlite switch to get the fog lites to come on with a seperate switch. I looked at the "bambi mod" and in all of them the head lite switch is modified. Ijust want to put a seperate sw, so that I can turn the fog lites anytime I want to regardless of where the headlite switch is set at. Is this even possible?

OK - search fer recent posts by "Xtremebawls" ( yes, that's an actual Screename )

If you find it, you can glean from his discovery a very straighforward solution - you will just need to add a switch. He's done all the rest for you.

I must have missed that thread in search because I can't find where he says anything about putting in a seperate switch. Thanks

He doesn't - you do.

The only reason i could see anyone wanting to go that route is if they wanted the ability to have the fogs on or off, if you want them on at all times then this is the fast and easy way to do it.
Replace 'splice' with 'switch'.
