Headlights and HID recommendations?

Headlights and HID recommendations?
what headlights you suggest for HIDs?
projectors or some nice ford lightning headlights?
If projectors, do you need seperate bulbs for high/low?
If just the ford lightning headlights, can you run HID's in there? The bi-xenon 9007 or w/e without glare and those issues?
What do you guys recommend? Or do you need to retrofit projectors into the crystal headlights?
I need some help.
And can you spray paint the insides to make it black without affecting light output?
thanks!

I'll answer in order
First off with headlights *housings* - It's your truck and it's up to you if you want projectors or if you want to keep the stock look and just aim them down. In which case get the lightning/harley housings.
Projectors and hi/low beam - As far as this goes I am not positive but I don't see a reason why you would need too. As far as i Know NCSU_FX4 has a retrofit with a single hi/low kit.
As far as glare if you aim them down as stated it will solve the problem *at least should
Spray paint housing - This one I just straight up don't know the answer too, but i'm sure someone else does.
Hope some of this helped. good luck

Yes, 9007. I just put in a Reto-Solutions lit in my Lighting headlights last night. World of difference. 6,000K with a 55w kit. Went in easy and fired up the first time. Unlike the "other" brand i replaced them with that i could never get both ballasts to fire at the same time twice in a row.
Very happy..

They are all just replicas, but ya they will work. I would stick to one of those, or find clear lightning corners without the amber strip on the bottom.
Here is the retrofit. Lots of work.
