Bench to buckets

Hey everyone, just got my truck yesterday and i want to bucket seats in it. I cant stand the beach seat. lol its a 97 F-150, single cab long bed

I searched the site, but couldnt really find much. Maybe im just searching wrong. Can anyone tell me how hard it would be to take the bench out, and put the buckets in? does it just swap right in? Also if anyone has a link, that would help alot! thanks.

Buckets from a F-150 or Expy can be easily mounted into your reg cab. All the necessary holes are already in the cab floor (plugged w/ rubber plugs), but you'll have to thread them.

I replaced the bench w/ a 60/40 seat in my XL ... it made the interior a lot nicer

Pic of threading the holes for my seat swap ...

x2. Basically, you have 12 holes in your front floor board. 4 on the drivers side, 4 in the middle for a center console, and 4 in the pax side. With a bench seat, the far left 2 on the drivers side is used and the far right 2 on the pax side is used. With buckets, you use all four on each side, but others arent threaded. you'll need a tap to do that, or use a nut and bolt.
