trying to decide how to make the iphone area. i can cut it out and then recess it in or just cut the two sides and the top and sort of bend it down

 

i think the finish will look better if you recess it and make it so the plug is hidden that would look sick

 

thats the way i was leaning also. but its just more work haha

 

fiberglass it as well!
use some wooden dowel rod on the corners however deep you want it and stretch/wrap the matting over the corners and then resin over that.

 

yea im gonna i was gonna do it with out the rods but thats a good idea eric and i have some at home in houston
