Alright guys, Talk me into it.

Ok, so I've wanted to take my shell off my truck since the day I bought it and replace it with a roll up tonneau, however, I've found it quite useful and handy over the last year. (Holy crap, it will be a year and almost 14,000 miles on the 28th!) Anyway, I still think I'll like the alternative better.

What I'm asking is for you guys to talk me into replacing it, or leaving it on. And yes, I've thought about keeping it and swapping to what my needs may be, but I don't want to deal with storing it somewhere, and I would like to get SOME money for it to put towards a new cover.

Here's a pic, let me know what you think I should do.

It looks great. It's on---leave it on.

personally im not a fan of the caps but that is a nice one .. i guess it depends on what u haul that needs to be dry, i got a truxport roll up cover and absolutly love it .. protects my bed and looks great.. i painted my bed rails black and rear window surround as well so it all blends nicely also if you sell that cap i would think youl get enough money for a nice cover and some money left over

How much would you want for it? I've been looking for one for my truck and yours looks like a nice one.

I called Toppers and More in South St. Paul, they will sell it for me if I buy with them, but they don't do trade in's I'm sure for fear they won't sell it. I'm about to drive down to Radco in Burnsville and see what kind of deals they have for that kind of thing. I'm not sure how much I want for it... Where in MN are you??

Caps make trucks look and act like vans. Take it off or trade it in for an E150.

The reason I don't need it anymore is because I have an E150 for work now . It was nice when I was using it for work. I'm posting it on Craigslist. Its originally from Radco they told me brand new the package I have is 1,400 bucks, so we'll see what happens.

And I like the way the hard covers look, but I'm not a fan, not versatile enough when I haul tall crap (same problem with the topper).

I just got a Lund Genesis roll-up from JCWhitney. I really like it and easy to roll back if you need the bed. Good price too

My snug top comes off with two **** screws, and the whole thing just lifts off the bed rail frames

I'm about 2 1/2 hrs west of the cities. If it's worth $1,400 new that's going to be a bit much for me, I'm hoping to find something in the $2-300 range because I would have to get it painted as well. Oh well, hopefully you can find someone who has the same color as you because you don't see too many around. If you decide to get crazy and want to sell it let me know. Good luck!

I'd love to sell mine for $300. But, can't find anyone with a stepside who wants it.

I was looking at buying a used peragon a while back its a hard tonneau that retracts if you need to haul stuff. There's a couple other companies that make these type covers, might be a good fit for you.
