Hey Pat, what's reason to point insulation on the AC vents?

keep the cold/hot inside the vent tubes and not escape out in the dash, faster initial cooling of me, and not the dash

I'm not trying to speak for Pat, but I suspect he's just a guy who's good w/ tools, had an idea, did some research, and dove in figuring he'd solve any problems w/ the project when he came across them. If you have ideas, my advice is to go for it ... there's an amazing amount of info on the internet, and most people are more than willing to share it.

Pat, this is a real sweet conversion ... can't wait to see the final outcome

Looks AWESOME Pat!! I have a question for you- I want to do this mod to my 02 screw but I have 4x4. I was thinkin a amber colored LED on the console itself for the overdrive off/on. What do you think about that?

It would be possible to do an LED instead of the 4x4, or i pulled information at work to see if the "ck susp" light could be used, just havent had time to review the diagrams yet.

I wanted something up in my line of sight, since if the transmission were to have a fault, it would flash the OD off light (in stock shifter) so i wanted something easy to see that would still be able to flash at me. So i chose to keep it off the shifter

I just noticed in your sig pic Pat, that there is no tailgate handle on the silver truck. how do you open the tailgate? Is there a handle on the inside?

this patman guy needs to come play with Stitches, she needs cleaned up electrically, and experienced hands on a brittle dash.

Looks great bud, cant wait to see what you come up with in the end.

Hmm, I was just wondering since I have my dash taken apart if it's worth it.
