Difficulty of taking off the bed?

I will add to what he said.....make sure at least the day before, you spray all your bed bolts with BP Blaster, they will come off with ease. I know some guys who have stripped/broke bolts before and had to end up cutting them out

make sure you have the correct size torx socket, you will strip the bolt or the tool out if its not the right one. Cant remember the size, i want to say its T45 or T47. but dont quote me on it

Its also much easier to remove the bed if you take the rear bumper off first, then when you take the bed off you wont have to lift completely over the rear bumper, just high enough to go over the rear wheels. Also if you'd like you could set the axle on jack stands and remove the rear wheels to make it even easier to slide the bed off the rear.

Take the tailgate off before you pull the bed, to save some weight you have to lift
