New member here!

Just wanted to drop in and say hello.

Here is what made me want to join this forum:

That's mine! That pic is about 8 months old.

'99 F-150. 4.2 V6, 5 speed manual. Got some minor cosmetic damage to places, but I'll be fixing that soon.

This truck has been through a lot. It's just a few hundred away from the big 100K mile mark. The only addon I've bought is a radio. At about 92K miles, the clutch went out, which was replaced. Only two bad things about it: Not 4WD and no cruise control.

Right now, I'm in the process of replacing the fuel pump. It went out on me about 2 weeks ago and I haven't got around to fixing it. I usually work long hours that make it impossible for me to do anything outside of work, which really sucks.

--

But, about me. Graduated from a technical school in 2009 with a degree in Computer System Software and Application Support (the long name for just simply: Computer Repair.) I consider myself a jack of all trades. I also believe I've mastered a few. Computers especially.

I work for US Foodservice as an order selector. Best job I've ever held, and also the highest paying.

I look forward to hearing from everyone. I'm open to suggestions about what to do to that truck. I'm thinking about putting a brush guard on it. The next project, however, is new speakers. I just cant seem to figure the door panels out...

That's a large photo? Lol. It was 4000 by 3000 before I cropped it.

I haven't been wanting to do either, really. I've thought about lowering it some, but I've just never felt the need to do anything with the height.

In all actuality, I was standing in a different city. If I remember correctly, the city park (where I took that picture) is right on the line.

And str8t six, I'm more of a street person. I've tried taking that truck off road, and trust me, it wasn't a pretty sight. I liked gettin it dirty, but I didn't like the fact I had to get it towed out...

Welcome! That's one big a$$ truck, I mean Pic you have there.
You can get a set of 2 inch drop Shackles for the back that will level the truck.
They cost about $50. I personally just like the looks when they sit level.
It seem most people want to raise the trucks, but I like the street look better

Patman, I don't have power windows, but man, that does look easy! I think I found out what I was doing wrong.

Raptor - I'm pretty big on flight sims, of course, lol. FSX especially.
