03 cluster color swap

Looking to change the cluster color in my 03 screw. I know I have to acetone the grren film off, but is it possible to change the green lcd display for the odometer to blue? If so how?

I wouldn't think that would be a very easy task to take on. Im sure you would have to solder in some different color bulb.. if you could even do that.

Yeah kinda what I thought. hmmmm well that sucks. Has anybody done the color change on the 99+? I'd like to see pics. I was thinking of going blue to match my deck, but now I don't know if I want it to be all blue with the odometer green.

Dingus did his, but he went red. Many other people have done it.. I did mine. Its a 98 though, but I am a pic *****.

It looks a lot more blue in person, but the camera really brings out the lighter side of it.

I used fingernail polish remover on the PRND21 (its like 60% acetone or something like that)

Well today I went for it and cleaned all the green film off the back of the cluster. So now I just need to order some LEDs. Does anyone have any recommendations on where to order them from? Thanks. Also while I was doing that I decided it'd be a good idea to ummm...disassemble the rest of the interior for some dash painting etc. Pics will be up within a few days.

thanks for the links patman. Do you know what the bulbs are in the cluster? i was told 194s but when i was looking today they seem smaller than a 194. I believe the two bulbs for the HVAC are 194s but not the cluster. Thanks
